Your thoughts on omaha

Anyone on here play Omaha on 888? Been trying it and its mad compared to texas holdem.

You get 4 cards not 2 which sounds simple but changes everything. Hands you think are good in holdem are usless in omaha unless you got near the nuts.

Games feel way more action packed, loads of draws everywhere and people just dont fold. You can get it in good and still lose alot, varience is brutal.

Holdem feels more steady and easy to read, omaha is more chaotic but kinda more fun if you like a gamble.

Think ill still stick to holdem mostly… but omaha is defo growing on me.stiil dont get it realy but bit of fun

I love a bit of the increased variance and action sometimes too - you just have to realise any 4 vs any 4 the equities pre flop run super close so depending how you play your hand - any hand can be profitable... knowing this its still good to  play tight and somewhat aggressive but making hands is critical and also stack size and betting heuristics seem to play an even bigger part. I seem to manage good bluffs in omaha but a paired board on the river is the game changer and yes people fold a lot less. Fun times if you can get it.

If you think 4 cards is a gamble, you should try the 6-card Omaha (PLO6) on GG Poker! It’s absolutely mental - with 6 cards, everyone has a piece of the board.

You can flop top set and still feel like an underdog. 😅 Omaha definitely keeps you on your toes more than Hold'em, but the variance is a rollercoaster.

Are you finding the 888 games softer than the GG ones, or is it just 'chaos' everywhere you look? 📈

I’m only holdem player, but I play for the 11 $ ticket, and win the 320$ ticket, 3-4 days streamers by Omaha, and I win 670$ from that ticket. It’s all my experience 😀🤣😀
