Alcohol has a cost
Alcohol and poker don’t mix.
Not in a meaningful way.
One drink feels harmless. It isn’t. Decision speed drops. Precision drops.
Discipline drops. You won’t notice it immediately. That’s the problem. Edges in poker are small. You don’t need to play badly to lose them. You just need to play slightly worse.
Alcohol does exactly that. Some treat it as part of the atmosphere. That’s fine - if the goal is entertainment. If the goal is performance, it’s a leak.
Simple rule: if you care about results, keep it out of the session.
