First live casino tournament in some time

I will be playing my first live casino tournament in about a decade next week, as I'll be spending a few days away in a city which has a couple of casinos. I have therefore decided to treat myself and pass an otherwise dull evening at the poker tables. The tournament won't be anything extravagant - I'm no high-roller, sadly (I wish I were!) - but it will be at a level a bit above my usual £5 pub game. I figure that the worst that happens is I spend a modest sum having an evening out playing a game I enjoy. The best case scenario, naturally, is I leave a few hours later with some extra spending money in my pocket. Based on my previous casino results, I have my fingers crossed for a deep run. I will of course update this blog with the results, but as I will be on holiday, it probably won't be immediately. A pleasant weekend to you all.
