My International Poker day (weekend) Grind!

I want to tell you all about how I have got on the weekend on GGPoker it has the freakiest 🎃👻🎃 ending so eyes down 👀

I already had it in my head about what I wanted to talk to you about this morning.

Yesterday I played a few tournaments and ITM’d a few of which I was reasonably happy about.

But that is also the issue!

I am getting into the ITM stages, which is all well and good. But I need to be making FT’s if I want to progress my level of poker and see the benefits in cash dollars 🤑

Two of the tournaments I came agonisingly close to the final table but walked into better hands🥹

The results are below so you can see for yourselves, but the big one I want to run through is going at the bottom……….

I started off Sunday quite well close to the FT as you can see above.

Then I seemed to go on a loosing streak and went out of a couple of tournaments early!

I had a decision to make with my now minimal funds left.

Do I try a couple more $1 or $2 tournaments?

Now the one I want to run through!……..

SundayMiniMarathon $5……..

You guessed it, I decided to “go big or go home”

this is a larger tournament with a bigger field and bigger prize pool, but let’s give it a go!

I thought I played pretty well and was close to the ITM 

Then I had K♦️K♣️ on the button wit a healthy stack of 33.bb

UTG raised to 2.5bb from a stack of 32.5bb everyone folded and I thought I am not messing around here so close to the money we were nearly four hours in!

I will go AI and scream big pocket pair! and take the chips on the table.

Oh No, he called and Inthought get in, they have only got K♠️Q♥️

and the flop comes……..

I DONT BELIEVE WHAT IS HAPPENING 

8♦️3♠️ was the turn and river!

That’s it I’m F@##@#@ DONE!

I had 0.8bb left, the next hand and I was all in and 20 places off the money.

Then I thought I haven’t used any of my timebank and decided to go with everything I had left!

I won the hand and got 3.6bb and sat on it for as long as I could 

My hand came before me K♦️Q♣️ I thought after what you have just done to me, it owes me!

AI and against the player who called my Kings and I Won! 🥳

But alas I went out to a better hand but made the ITM!
