Online Poker Changed The Way I Watch People
Poker really changes how you look at people sometimes.
Not in a dramatic way - just little things.
You start noticing timing more. Tone. Patterns. The way someone reacts when they’re confident compared to when they’re uncomfortable. Even outside poker.
Sometimes I’ll be in a completely normal conversation and catch myself thinking, “that answer felt like a bluff” 😄
Obviously real life isn’t poker, but I do think spending years making reads changes your brain a bit.
Not always useful though. Sometimes you probably end up overanalysing people for no reason at all.

Gambling literally made us start seeing things in a whole new way bro😂
FACT! 🥲
A lot of communication is non-verbal. Only when we shut up and listen with all our senses do we open ourselves to new possibilities of communication in the mind. I'm not sayin we can be telepathic but we can develop a skill of predicting the future from our learned experience. Feels good when our predictions are vindicated
Or, on the other hand, it’s not very pleasant when your expectations are confirmed, since it’s not uncommon to expect the worst from someone.
