Poker feels different at night
I don’t know if it’s just me, but late-night poker has a completely different atmosphere.
The lobby gets quieter, fewer people are talking, and the whole game feels slower somehow. Even the decisions feel heavier at 2am than they do in the afternoon.
Sometimes I actually play better at night. Less distractions, less noise in my head. Other times it feels like the fatigue hides itself and you only realise it after punting a stack in some random spot 😅
There’s also something oddly nice about finishing a deep run while the rest of the world is asleep.
Feels less like grinding and more like being stuck in your own little world for a few hours.
