You don’t have to force every spot

Been noticing this more and more lately.

A lot of players feel like they have to do something in every hand - find a bluff, apply pressure, make some kind of move. Like if they don’t, they’re missing value or playing too passive.

But honestly, a big part of winning is just… not forcing it.

Some spots are just simple. You have a fold - you fold. You have value - you bet. And if nothing is really happening, you just move on and wait.

The problem starts when you try to create something out of nothing. That’s where mistakes come in.

For me, the game feels way cleaner when I stop looking for spots that aren’t really there and just play what’s in front of me.

It’s so true that the cleanest game comes from just playing what’s in front of you instead of trying to manufacture a move out of thin air!
