Rebuilt my stack from absolutely nothing

I thought I was done....

I was playing a tournament today and at one point I was down to almost nothing, blind was about to eat me up with just a hand left to get me out of the game.At this point, most players would have given up already, cause it's usually rare to make a comeback from this, but I stayed regardless to see if I can actually survive it.

I couldn't afford to see turn anymore, it was either all in or folds and just like that it was as if the game switched to favour me in all hands I held at that moment.

What really changed wasn't just the cards or the hands, it was the mindset. When you are short stacked, you panic. Start playing desperate. Calling anything, hoping something works.

I almost went down that road

But instead, I stayed patient, took my time and waited for spots that actually made sense.

Although I didn't win the tournament, but I was very close still. The session taught something very important, You’re never really out... until you're out.

Poker have a way of putting players on the edge, but it also gives you chances to fight your way back and this was one of those times I get reminded never to give up, even when it fells like its over.

Have you ever been in this spot before?

If you have, did you make a comeback?

Down to 0.9 Big blinds yesterday and within 3 hands id doubled 3 times and was on 22 bigs and got Dealt aces! Sods law i lost that hand... funny how poker works and the chip and a chair philosophy can win you tournaments you thought you had no shot in.
