The older I get, the less I care about “Poker Genius” stuff
When I first got into poker, I was obsessed with complicated plays.
Fancy bluffs. Weird lines. Trying to “outplay” people every session.
Now? Honestly, I respect simple players way more.
The ones who show up, play solid, stay disciplined, don’t tilt, don’t ego battle every reg at the table… those are usually the players still around years later.
Poker already has enough variance by itself. You don’t need to add extra chaos trying to look clever.
These days I probably appreciate stability more than creativity.
Maybe that sounds boring. But boring wins surprisingly often.

I like it! I’m no fancy player myself, just hate a bully! And no it doesn’t sound boring, is it winning prizes, then it’s the clever play! ♥️♣️♦️♠️🃏🤑💙
