Hi there! My name’s Oksana. I’m a Lead iGaming Expert at Cardmates, where I transform the gambling industry into tons of UK-focused content.

By diploma, I’m a qualified primary school & English teacher. My knowledge and skills in that field help me in today’s work – I know how to explain complex topics as simply as possible. Outside work, I switch to oil painting and reading sci-fi. Fond of cooking and also play table tennis sometimes.

My Experience

Joined Cardmates back in 2018. Before that, I was creating content and doing translations, iGaming-wise, for other companies as a freelancer. Years of diverse experience have deepened my appreciation for the industry. My Responsibilities

As an iGaming expert with nearly 10-year length of service, I contribute to the project in different ways. As part of the role, my core responsibilities are:

• Market research and identification of emerging trends. The chief part of my job is UK market analysis and analytics. The industry is constantly evolving and must be overseen at all times to optimise content strategies accordingly.
• Monitoring regulatory overhaul. Actively keep tabs on key changes in the UK gambling laws: legal standards, licensing updates and compliance with jurisdiction-specific requirements.
• Creating expert reviews. I do detailed inspections of online casinos and poker sites and rank brands accordingly. There’s a multitude of options on the UK market, so choosing where to gamble is not that easy anymore.
• Game analysis and testing. Review slot releases, their mechanic and bonus features, always keep the real player experience in mind.
• Creating gambling guides. Creating valuable educational content for newbies – rule-wise, strategy-wise, odds-wise and otherwise – is also among my duties. Love sharing my knowledge with others and strive to give practical pieces of advice.
